First let me start by saying I rarely write yelp reviews, but Dr. Dan Wu deserves one!
To make a long story short I decided to start trying a more natural approach to regulate my hormonal imbalance. After only ONE appointment with Dr. Dan Wu, I had the most “normal” cycle I have had in a year and my symptoms were greatly reduced! After seeing several doctors and trying synthetic hormones that only made the symptoms worse over the last year, I was beyond thrilled with the results! I am now continuing treatment with Dr. Wu and feeling hopeful again.
During a treatment, Dr. Wu uses a combination of traditional acupuncture, electro acupuncture and cupping. It is surprising how relaxing it can be.
I saw one other acupuncturist weekly for a month who only used needles (and far less needles) along with herbs and I saw no difference in my cycle or symptoms. I know acupuncture takes time and many people say give it up to 3 months to see a difference which is why I was even more shocked to see such a change after one appointment with Dr. Wu.
Lastly, Dr. Wu goes above and beyond to work with your insurance. He truly puts the patient above money which is incredibly rare. I am so glad I found him! I highly recommend giving acupuncture with him a try!!!!
