Very Good Acupuncture
A colleague referred me to Dr. Wu after my back surgery because I was still having some pain. Being a physician myself I had modest expectations for this treatment but I now recommend this clinic to all of my friends. I feel an improvement after each session and at times the pain relief is immediate. He uses more needles than other acupuncturists I went to in the past and sometimes I fall asleep during the session. I certainly sleep better on the days I get these treatments, both because I am more relaxed and because of the pain relief.

Hello. I have had a pain in my
lower back for quite a number of months now. The worst part is
at night when i try to go to sleep. No matter what position I
get in I can't seem to feel comfortable. It really has been
driving me crazy and interfering with my sleep. My doctor could
not specifically identify the problem and could do nothing more
than prescribe pain medication.
I don't like to take pain medication such as vicodins or the
like. They make me light-headed and somewhat nauseous. I just
don't like the feeling I get when I am on that stuff. I take
aspirin, ibuprofen, etc., which does help, but still does not
render me absolutely comfortable when I sleep. I had just
resigned myself to avoiding long trips in my auto and putting up
with this ailment until it goes away or if and when the problem
can be identified and some treatment can be found.
Then somebody recommended Dan Wu and his caring treatment of his
patients. I am a white person, so I was always very sceptical of
these far eastern approaches to treating ailments in the place
of traditional western medicine. But eureka...it worked! Dr. Wu
cured my ailment after a couple of visits. Anytime I feel a
twinge like it might be coming back I am back in his office in a
heartbeat. In fact, I am willing to rely on his advice and
treatment concerning a wide range of issues now should the need
arise. I have complete confidence in him. I just cannot
recommend this man highly enough.
I was having bleeding between my
periods and I had been looking for a way to make it stop!I had
been to my well renowned OBGYN who told me I should have surgery
to make it stop- but the surgery option was incredbily expensive
(for those of us who don't have fabulous insurance) and could
leave scar tissue behind- which is not great if I am wanting to
get pregnant! And- how it would be a temporary cure for a larger
problem. In my thinking it is better to get to the root of the
cause and find a long term solution!
So, I feel very blessed and lucky to have come across the New
Body Acupuncture website and to find Dr. Wu.
After 11 treatments the bleeding I have had for years stopped.
Finally I am only bleeding during my period. Dr. Wu is so
patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable.
My first appointment with him I told him that I don't like
acupuncture- the needles- the whole thing- but he has certainly
changed my mind. Now if I go in tired I come out refreshed and
happy, and people see the difference instantly. (just a
wonderful side benefit from stopping my bleeding!!)
I really can't recommend him high enough. I wish that I could
help spread the word to let all women who have gone through what
I have gone through know that there are other options besides
hormone drugs and surgeries! And it costs less!
OOh! I almost forgot! he also took a mole that I have had on my
neck off. Easy breezy. Amazing!
So, yeah- he is awesome, his treatments work, and you can feel
safe and secure through your healing process.

I'm over 60 years old. I often feel some pressures and pains on my lower back and shoulder areas. I used to think it is normal for my age and accepted this occurrence. One time, I talked to my friend and I was referred to Dr Wu for the acupuncture. I was a little bit nerves at the first visit because I thought it may be painful with the needles treatment. Surprising, it was painless and I fell asleep the whole time during the treatment. I feel great and my shoulders can move more freely without pain after several follow-up treatments. He is a great and friendly acupuncturist. He is the best! Highly recommended.
I got very serious shoulder/back pain weeks ago, and right after the treatment by Dr. Wu, the pain got much relieved~~The place is nice, quiet and comfort; and Dr. Wu is very patient and helpful. If there are more problems, I will definitely go to New Body Acupuncture!

I have undergone a series of acupuncture treatments for severe sciatic pain and muscle weakness by Dr. Dan Wu which has resulted in marked improvement in my condition. As a result I am able walk with considerably less pain. I am also able to do many household activities which I was unble to perform before. Dan is a pleasant and giving individual and based on what he has done for me I can recommend him as a skilled provider of acupuncture services

Dr Dan Wu is the best! I came to Dr. Wu for a particular reason that had to do with terrible allergies. I had been recommended to Dr. Wu by a friend of mine who suggested I might try accupunture. First off not only is Dr. Wu an incredible accupuncture Dr. with a caring and very friendly and extremely nice disposition he is also a MD in western medicine. When I filled out the paperwork that was first given to diagnose my problem I was inspired to fill out the whole questionaire on some of the other physical problems I had been experiencing. Dr. Wu immediately knew what was wrong with me and treated me for much more than I originally had come come for, I had needles from head to toe... and gave me an amazing deal, for the work he has done. He explained to me that it is easy to get an accupuncture license but quite a different story than the training he has had in China. 5 years and also his knowledge of western medicine. He told me that within 5 treatments I would begin to feel better but within 20, It should be cured. I have had 9 treatments and already I am feeling great! Allergies have almost completely gone away. In the process of moving the the other day I pulled out my back quite severely...I mean I could barely move, seeing as how Dr. Wu AKA Dr. Feelgood was treating me I figured lets work on the back! He said in 3 treatments it should be almost gone and I'll be darned if he wasn't right still a bit sore but in 3 days feel amazingly better... down from 12 advil to 2 in 3 days! Anyway...all I can say is Dr. Wu Rocks and genuinely is all about healing the whole body properly with real traditional Chinese Medicine...So needless to say if you want the real deal...not some wanna be guy sticking pins in you to kill the pain..GO TO DR. WU....AKA Dr. Feelgood!!!
They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. The needles didn't hurt at all during my treatment. I am scared of needles and was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't tell they were even there. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome it. I've felt like an annoyance at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. My daughter had itchy and very dry skin. She visited the dermatology over a few years. She was prescribed with cream medication which contains Hydrocortisone every time to sooth her itchiness. It didn't help much . Her medication situation was getting worse. I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Wu for acupuncture. At first, we didn't know if it was going to work as she never had any experiences with acupuncture and was afraid of needles and pain. Surprisingly, she didn't complain about the needles after her first treatment. She told us it was painless and so she wanted to give it a try. After a few treatments, we could see that her itchiness and skin was getting better. When she completed the whole treatment cycle, her skin problem was gone and no longer needs the Hydrocortisone cream . Her skin doesn't bother her anymore. She was very lucky to have been treated by Dr. Wu. I usually do not write reviews but Dr. Wu really deserves one. Dr. Wu, thank you very much. Highly Recommended.
New Body Acupuncture, Restored My Hormones.
My friend referred me to New Body Acupuncture clinic. My friend's period pain immediatly relieved after treatment. It is hard to believe when I heard it. I suffered period parin every month for many years. I feel cold, very painful in the first 2 days of the period, and what I can do is just taking pain killing pills and staying in bed. I am tired of it. I decided to give a try even I am scared by needles. The pain immediatly gone after Dr. Wu applied needles to specific points in abdomen. It is soooo amazing! After 18 treatment in 3 months, period pain never bothers me again. I am so relieved now. I am so glad I made the right decision. I highly recommened Dr. Wu to women suffering period pain like me.
I have been seeing Dr. Wu for about 5 year since I was in graduate school. I had a bad pain during period and my period is not regular. I went to see my Ob and I tried many ways, like taking birth control pill.But none of them work. I am so desperate. I decided to give Acupuncture a try. Then My friend referred me to Dr. Wu since he has Western Medicine experience as well. I am so lucky to see Dr. Wu. He is very patient and knowledgeable.
